Policies and Fees
Water Bill Payment & Service Guide
Thank you for being a valued customer! We want to help you avoid any interruptions to your water service. Here’s what you need to know to keep your account in good standing:
1. Billing & Payment
- Bills are mailed by the 5th of each month.
- Payment is due by the 20th of each month. If payment isn’t received by then, a 10% late fee will be added to your bill.
- Returned checks or drafts: There is a $50 charge for any returned payments.
2. Avoiding Service Disconnection
- If your bill isn’t paid in full by the 1st of the following month, your water service may be disconnected. To restore service, a $100 reconnection fee will be added to your balance.
3. Getting Reconnected
- Pay your full balance (including the reconnection fee), and we’ll unlock your meter within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Meters can only be unlocked during business hours, so please contact our office with your payment as early as possible to avoid delays.
- For your safety, we’ll remove the lock from your meter but will not turn it on unless requested by the customer. If you’d like us to turn the water back on, just let us know!
